Machine Setter Plastic Injection Moulding (m/f/d) 

Reporting to the Plastic Injection and Tool Shop Manager, the Machine Setter would be responsible for:

• Setting up and operating Plastic Injection machines, MC robots, dryers and related machinery.
• Carrying out changeovers on Plastic Injection Machines including material change.
• Troubleshooting and process optimisation
• Carrying out routine maintenance on machines, robots and tools
• Following and sustaining 5S methodology within the injection department
• Monitoring, analysing and maintaining SPC (Statistical Process Control)
• Administering the tool database and applications related to department work.

• Good knowledge of the various polymers and their properties.
• Be proactive in continuous improvements within the Injection Department.
• Have a positive attitude towards quality and safety.
• Be computer literate with good knowledge of MS Applications – Excel, Word, Email.
• Ability to work individually and in a team, with excellent communication  skills.
• Be able and willing to work on 2 or 3 Shift Basis.
