R&D Engineer Mechanical (m/f/d)

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    We are looking for a detail-oriented candidate to form part of the Meachnical R&D team within the Engineering department. The position includes the development for Thermal Management solutions and the continuous improvement / optimisation of current products.

    MAIN DUTIES:

    • Designing new products based on customer and market demands
    • Continuous improvement of current products and production support
    • Develop, improve and maintain current product ranges
    • Ensure applicable standards are maintained by products
    • Provide testing and research functions
    • Provide prototyping & product support functions
    • Ensure internal and customer requirements for documentation and design
      processes are maintained
    • Provide technical support within the group
    • Provide design concepts and technical proposals for sales requests
    • Coordinate product certification requirements with external certification bodies

    REQUIREMENTS

    • A degree in Mechanical Engineering
    • Be able to work on own initiative and as an integral part of a team 
    • Experience with 3D CAD software would be considered an asset
